Who's this Guide For?​

This guide is for a few different groups of people:

  1. Current AP Chemistry Students who want additional out-of-class resources to help them succeed in the course..
  2. Self-Studiers who want to learn AP Chemistry on their own to take the AP Exam for college credit.
  3. Teachers who want to use this guide as a resource for their students.

No matter if you don't fit into any of these groups, you're still welcome to use this guide!

What does the Guide Cover?​

This guide follows the official AP Chemistry curriculum and covers all the topics you need to know for the AP Exam.

If you are taking an AP equivalent course (e.g. IB, A-Levels, etc.), this guide will still be useful to you. It provides a comprehensive overview of chemistry and will help you understand chemistry as a whole.

How to Use this Guide​

There are a couple of ways you can use this guide:

  1. Read topics as they come up in class. This is the most common way to use this guide. You can get ahead of your peers while studying relevant information for what you're leraning in class instead of some random topic that you're going to forget by the time of the AP Exam.
  2. Read it from start to finish. This is the most comprehensive way to use this guide. You'll learn everything you need to know about AP Chemistry.
  3. Use it as a reference. This is the most flexible way to use this guide. You can use it to review topics you've already learned or learn topics you haven't learned yet.

Will I get a 5 on the AP Exam if I use this Guide?​

There's no guarantee that you'll get a 5 on the AP Exam if you use this guide. However, if you read this guide thoroughly and do practice problems, you'll be well-prepared for the AP Exam.
